Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Mastering Effective Strategies and Collaborative Techniques

Course Overview

In this course, we will explore essential strategies for problem-solving and decision-making. By the end of the course, you will be able to identify the three types of decisions and their suitability for various situations, gather information efficiently for quicker problem resolution, and understand the four learner styles that contribute to effective problem-solving. You will learn to apply a three-step model for addressing problems, utilise the '6 Thinking Hats' framework to enhance team collaboration, and conduct a cost/benefit analysis while setting decision-making criteria. Additionally, we will emphasise the importance of brainstorming sessions for fostering creativity and generating innovative solutions.

This course is approximately 30 minutes and is separated into 4 modules, the last of which is a quiz in which you must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass.
