The Kanban Methodology
Overview
Sometimes it can be tricky to keep track of everything you need to do. Even your trusty ‘to-do’ list isn’t perfect. What if you’ve started something but only half finished it? Should you tick it off or not? How do you know what needs to be done 1st, especially when new things get added? You usually end up with many confusing crossings-out, and things still don’t feel that clear.
That’s where the Kanban methodology comes in. It’s a system that organises your tasks into Kanban cards which are then put on a board to monitor what stage everything is at. This course will teach you the basics of Kanban methodology and how you can make your very own Kanban board for your projects.
Outline Learning Objectives:
- Create a Kanban board for your workflow to ensure efficiency and that everything is on track
- Understand how to use a Kanban board to effectively manage a project by reviewing processes and spotting bottlenecks
- Set Kanban Work in Progress (WIP) limits to ensure workflow doesn’t exceed capacity
