Kotter's 8-Step Change Model was created by Harvard University Professor, John Kotter. He perceived the change process as having 8 essential steps.
The 8 Essential Steps in this model are:
- Create a sense of urgency for change
- Build a coalition for change
- Form a vision for change
- Communicate the vision for change
- Remove barriers to change
- Generate quick wins for the change
- Stay persistent with the change
- Make the change permanent
