Critical Thinking
Course Overview
Critical thinking is a valuable skill in the workplace. An employee who is good at critical thinking is more adaptable, more efficient, and able to work more independently.
When confronted with a problem or a new situation, critical thinking enables employees to quickly find suitable solutions and feel confident about what they need to do. It also allows them to reflect on the work they do and find more effective ways of working.
In this course, we look at how employees can use critical thinking in the workplace, taking the learner through each step in the process.
Firstly, we look at how to start by asking the right questions about the problem or situation. Then we look at how to find relevant evidence and reliable information.
Next, we look at how to use the facts to reach a logical solution. Finally, we look at acting on the outcome of critical thinking.
This microlearning course is an animated video, with audio narration and a multiple-choice post-assessment.
