Travelling for Work: Health and Wellbeing
Course Overview
Business travel can have a negative impact on employee health and wellbeing. Jet lag and dehydration make air travel physically stressful, while travel of all kinds may disrupt personal routines, making it harder to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen. Inexperienced business travellers frequently lack the know-how to manage and mitigate these impacts. The knock-on effects for organisations can be substantial: lost productivity, poor performance and reduced employee satisfaction. The challenges of frequent business travel have also been found to significantly impact employee retention.
“Travelling for Work: Health and Wellbeing” equips learners with the information and skills to stay healthy and well while travelling for work. The 3-minute animation—with rich, learning-focused visual content and lively audio narration—walks the learner through the travel process from preparation to staying away from home, providing insights into the pitfalls and tips for staying well.
