Child Safeguarding in Boarding
Overview
This CPD-certified, level-2 e-learning course is suitable for anyone working with children and young people in a boarding environment. The course includes optional voiceover recorded by a professional actor.
It is specifically designed to give learners a better understanding of the additional safeguarding responsibilities of those working in a boarding environment.

Course Content
- Why is it Different - Understanding why boarding environments can pose different and additional safeguarding risks, including peer-on-peer abuse, fgm, radicalisation, and technology.
- What do Boarding Staff need to do -Looking at the boarding standards and how these apply to staff working in a boarding school, the importance of leadership, whistleblowing (reporting concerns), risk assessment, and the policies and documents set out by the standards.
