Overview

This activity shows how to create strong passwords, how password managers can be used and what multi-factor authentication is.

This course forms part of the Access Group’s latest range of cyber security training. It is accredited and endorsed by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), an organisation with a mission to make the UK the safest place to live and work online

Objectives

On completing this activity, you will be able to:

• Confidently use the NCSC’s three random words technique to create strong memorable passwords,
• Explain what a password manager is and know how and when to use one, and
• Explain what multi-factor authentication is and know how and when to use it.
