EYFS Made Simple

Overview

This level 2 CPD-certified e-learning course is suitable for anyone who comes into contact with children under the age of 5 in their work or voluntary activity.

The course includes optional voiceover recorded by professional actor. The EYFS made simple culminates with an assessment. It is specifically designed to provide learners with a high level of understanding on the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage and to give them a detailed overview of the EYFS, in particular, the learning and development and safeguarding and welfare requirements, and the role of assessments.

Law & Legislation

This course provides a detailed overview of the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage - first defined in Section 39 of the government’s Childcare Act 2006, which requires all UK childcare providers to comply with the welfare requirements of the EYFS, and, for those in England, the learning and development requirements too.
