Understanding Neurodiversity in the Workplace

Overview

Neurodiverse workers make up a substantial part of the construction workforce. Yet only 38% say their organisation offers meaningful support and just over half say they would feel comfortable asking for support or adjustments at work, according to Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Objectives

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

  • Recognise what it means to be neurodivergent
  • Meet legal responsibilities and foster a culture of respect and inclusion in the workplace
  • Develop practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent workers.
