Recruitment and Selection

Overview

Recruitment and selection is the process of identifying the need for a job, defining the requirements of the position and the job holder, advertising the position and choosing the most appropriate person for the job.

This course is for anyone who is involved in the recruitment and selection process.

Recruiting people with the right skills and qualities is essential for any organisation, if it is to maintain and improve its effectiveness.

Careful analysis of the job to be done, and of the competencies required to do it, is necessary if the right people are to be fitted into the right job.

It is important that the personnel involved in the recruitment and selection process have the relevant support and training to help them conduct their roles efficiently.
