Course Overview

Human papilloma virus (HPV) is the name for a group of viruses that affect the skin and mucous membrane of the upper respiratory and anogenital tracts. This short course provides information about what HPV is, how it is transmitted, signs and symptoms and prevention of HPV. It also describes the current UK vaccination schedule against HPV.

Its is suitable for nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare staff who may be vaccinating people against HPV.
