Overview

You have a responsibility to protect students from abuse of any kind. But it’s not always obvious when a student’s being harmed, even if the abuse is physical. This can make it difficult to spot vital warning signs, or to respond appropriately. Some of your students might also be at greater risk of being physically abused than others.

Recognising the warning signs that a student might be experiencing physical abuse will help you to be vigilant. And taking a strategic approach to safeguarding students at risk of experiencing physical abuse will help you to protect them from harm.
