Course Overview

Welcome to this course on neurodiversity awareness. The course begins by clarifying what neurodiversity means, exploring common neurodiverse conditions, and challenging the stereotypes and misconceptions that often surround them.

You’ll gain insight into the prevalence of neurodiversity in the UK and celebrate the contributions of neurodiverse individuals, particularly in business and creative industries.

The course then turns to neurodiversity in the workplace, highlighting the strengths and benefits neurodiverse individuals bring to organisations. You’ll learn about legal responsibilities, reasonable adjustments, and inclusive practices such as accessible recruitment, effective communication, and supportive coaching.

By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped with practical knowledge to help create a more inclusive, neurodiversity-positive work environment.
