Overview

Remember that episode of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon decides to leave for a few weeks because there is too much change? It was somewhere between seeing James Earl Jones in a towel and Penny getting that weird haircut… Anyway, Sheldon’s character was suffering with intense anxiety and when it all got too much, he had an emotional breakdown.

If you’ve been suffering with mental illness for a while, you may have it under control. But, things change, and just like Sheldon, it’s possible to find yourself in a situation where you feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. This course is going to teach you how to prevent the likelihood of a crisis and what to do if a crisis does happen.

Why take this course?

If you’ve been suffering with mental illness for a while then this course would suit you. You might feel that you’re at breaking point and don’t know where to turn or what options are available. Crises don’t only affect those with diagnosed conditions, however; they may stem from stressful life issues such as grief, abuse, addiction or money problems that are spiralling out of your control.
