Course Overview

Learn how to stay safe as a lone worker. Whether you work primarily in a vehicle, or embed at different work sites, as a lone worker you are vulnerable to a unique set of security risks. Drawing on the expertise of security specialists Trisat, who have helped clients from Jaguar Land Rover to T-Mobile keep their people safe, this course equips you to anticipate and combat the challenges of lone remote working.

Course Objectives

Guided by audio narration, and engaging with interactive exercises, you will learn how to:

• Distinguish between hazards, risks and risks factors - for better safety planning
• Use the “S.A.F.E.R.” system: Trisat’s “toolbox” of five personal-security techniques for lone workers
• Stay safe on the street and in a vehicle
• Arrive at and leave your home safely
• Stay safe at remote work sites
• Improve your situational awareness
• Plan to avoid risks

The course also includes a short assessment, so learners can test their mastery of the material
