Healthy Relationships
Overview
This e-learning course is suitable for anyone working in an education setting. It covers the key areas of RSHE guidance, the foundations of healthy relationships, how to recognise unhealthy relationships, consent and sexual assault, and how to respond to disclosures.
Course Content
- Introduction - An introduction to RSHE guidance, and the foundations of what makes a healthy relationship.
- Unhealthy Relationships - Covers the signs of unhealthy relationships, including controlling behaviour, and the effects this has on the other person.
- Consent and Sexual Assault - Covers the importance of consent, the legal definitions of rape and sexual assault and myths surrounding them, and other criminal offences related to sex.
- Trauma Responses and Disclosures - How different people react to trauma, how to access support, and how to respond to disclosures from both children and adults.
