Overview

The aim of this course is to give anyone caring for a person with epilepsy a good understanding of the illness and how to care for them in the event of a seizure.

Objectives

This training will enable learners to:

• Discover epilepsy and what can trigger it
• Correctly order the steps in the recovery position
• Recognise how to provide individual support to someone with epilepsy
• Recognise how to carry out a risk assessment for an individual with epilepsy
