Course Overview

Lone workers whose base is at home rather than an office are vulnerable to a unique set of risks. Drawing on the expertise of security specialists Trisat, who have helped clients from Jaguar Land Rover to T-Mobile keep their people safe, this course equips you to keep your home and yourself secure.

Course Objectives

Guided by audio narration, and engaging with interactive exercises, you will learn how to: 

• Distinguish between hazards, risks and risks factors - for better safety planning
• Use the “S.A.F.E.R.” system: Trisat’s “toolbox” of five personal-security techniques for lone workers
• Keep your home secure
• Arrive at and leave your home safely
• Improve your situational awareness
• Plan to avoid risks

The course also includes a short assessment, so learners can test their mastery of the material
