This course provides a comprehensive overview of the key principles of the Freedom of Information Act, guiding you through who it applies to, how information requests are processed, and the conditions under which requests may be refused or exempted. You’ll learn about the criteria, fees, and timeframes for handling requests, and understand how the Act is enforced, including the right to appeal decisions. By the end, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to confidently navigate and comply with the Act’s requirements
