Course Overview

Aggression and violence in the workplace can create unsafe environments and impact employees and customers alike. Recognising and effectively responding to threatening behaviour and understanding how to manage escalating situations are vital skills for maintaining safety and reducing risks.

This course will help you identify signs of aggression, show you practical techniques to defuse or redirect challenging behaviours, and explain how to respond effectively to violent situations. You’ll also learn how to prioritise your own safety and follow workplace protocols to protect yourself and others.
