Overview

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is a critical component for personal and professional success. To be an effective, well-rounded salesperson, you need to build a combination of hard skills and the soft EQ skills in sales.

Objectives

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify what emotional intelligence (EQ) is, and why it matters in sales;
  • Review the 5 components of EQ, and how they apply in sales;
  • Assess how to develop each component of EQ;
  • Explore the steps to build an empathy map for the stakeholders you are interacting with;
