PEG and Enteral Tube Feeding

Overview
Welcome to the PEG and Enteral Tube Feeding eLearning course. This course will provide you with an understanding of what enteral tube feeding is (including PEG and NG). It will also provide you with insight into the complications and individual with an enteral feeding tube may experience, and how you should respond to these. Finally, you will learn how to support an individual with an enteral feeding tube, including how to administer a feed or medication, and how to care for an individual’s feeding tube (such as checking the position of an NG tube).
By the successful completion of this course the learner will have gained an understanding of enteral tube feeding and how to support individuals with a range of enteral feeding tubes (including PEG and NG).
This course is designed for those working within the Health and Social Care sector who require level 2 training in PEG and Enteral Tube Feeding.
