Combatting Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking: Awareness, Identification, and Reporting
Course Overview
In this course, we will explore modern slavery, its signs, and methods for prevention, intervention, and reporting. It emphasises the fundamental human right to live freely and underscores the responsibility of individuals and businesses to help eradicate modern slavery.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to define 'modern slavery' and explain its prevalence in the UK, identify the different forms it takes, explain barriers to helping victims, list indicators that someone is at risk, outline the responsibilities of individuals and employers to report suspicions, and explain how to report concerns.
This course is approximately 30 minutes and is separated into 4 modules, the last of which is a quiz in which you must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass.
