India and the US are such vast and populous geographies that drawing comparison points of cultural differences between the two can result in people making sweeping generalizations.

A young, ambitious software engineer from New Delhi may have a lot in common with his or her counterpart in Silicon Valley. It could be certainly a lot more than a farmer from any part of India would with a construction worker from Seattle.
