An Introduction to Autism

Course Overview

This presentation is designed to give a basic introduction into Autism.

There are 26 learning sections to the course followed by a 15 question quiz.

By the end of this course you will be able to recognise why people have Autism, and be able to identify the various conditions within the Autism spectrum. The course will help you to recognise the different types of conditions, recognise the symptoms of Autism, understand what can cause Autism and realise what levels of support are needed for each individual.

By the end of this presentation, students will be able to:

• Will gain an understanding of what can cause Autism and why it happens
• You will recognise the need for how much or how little support a person will require
• You will be able to recogise the different conditions of Autism in society
