MAR Charts

Overview

The aim of this course is to enable the learner to understand the correct procedures for completing medication administration charts (MAR). This course is suitable for Care Assistants, Senior Care Assistants and Nurses who use MAR Charts.

Objectives

This training will enable learners to:

• Outline the information held on a MAR chart and the importance of a MAR chart
• Recognise the various codes on a MAR chart
• Identify how to complete a MAR chart
