Confined Space & PRCS: The Permit

COURSE OVERVIEW

Permit Required Confined Space (PRCS) The Permit explains the general requirements and meaning of the 15 sections of the entry permit.

Additional topics include proper signage and posting requirements, understanding designated roles and responsibilities, acceptable entry conditions, and when to cancel an entry permit.

An interactive simulation is included where the learner plays the role of the supervisor. The supervisor's objective is to review the entry permit, communicate with the entry team, identify hazards and hazard controls, and assess whether or not it is safe to enter the space.
