Course Overview

This COSHH e-learning module will provide you with an understanding of COSHH and ensure you know the responsibilities you have with the control of substances hazardous to health.

The aim of this module is that all employees gain a clear understanding of their responsibilities with the control of substances hazardous to health under the Health and Safety at Work Regulations, within the workplace.

Outcomes:

By the end of this e-learning module, you will have an understanding of the following learning outcomes:

• Understand the principles of COSHH regulations and the responsibilities placed upon both the employer and the employee.
• Be aware of and understand the meaning of COSHH symbols.
• Know where to source safety data sheets and conduct and understand COSHH risk assessments.
