Overview

This course is aimed specifically at Neighbourhood Officers, giving them the skills to deal with asbestos cases effectively and to impart appropriate information to the tenants.

Learning Objectives/Outcomes

• Provide Neighbourhood Officers with basic background information as to where asbestos can be found in the home and what guidance to give customers when issuing the housing pack and welcoming them to their new home
• Ensure consistent non alarmist information is given to customers
