Course Overview

This course is provided for users of the Symetrica Verifinder 1 Series, Radioactive Isotope Identification Device (RIID). The course will cover basic instrument setup and operations including access to core user interface functions.

Learning Outcomes:

To enable effective operation of VeriFinder, you will be adequately trained to:

• Understand and know the basic theory behind the use of the VeriFinder.
• Understand and know the VeriFinder device, peripherals, user interface and controls.
• Operate the VeriFinder device to detect and identify radiation sources.
• Identify Hazardous and System Status alarms.
• Understand and know the features available for changing the VeriFinder device settings.
