This course is provided for users of the Verifinder Backpack. The course will cover basic instrument setup and operations including access to core user interface functions.

Learning Outcomes:

To enable effective operation of VeriFinder Backpack, you will be adequately trained to:

• Understand and know the basic theory behind the use of the VeriFinder Backpack.
• Understand and know the VeriFinder Backpack device, peripherals, user interface and controls.
• Operate the VeriFinder backpack device to detect and identify radiation sources.
• Identify Hazardous and System Status alarms.
• Understand and know the features available for changing the VeriFinder Backpack device settings.
