Remote Working: Top Tips
Course Overview
Remote working has seen a big increase in recent years and although there are lots of advantages, there are also some challenges. It can be harder for colleagues to maintain a healthy work/life balance and they can find it tougher to stay in touch with each other.
The good news is there are ways to overcome the challenges of home working. With the right approach, remote work can be a huge boost to colleagues’ wellbeing and productivity.
In this course, we’ve picked our five top tips for working from home, from across our huge series of courses for remote workers.
Firstly, we look at how colleagues can still find ways to bond and socialise while working remotely. Then we look at how phone calls can help workers to stay connected.
Next, we look at the importance of communicating more to compensate for the lack of proximity. Then we look at the importance of creating a separate work space at home. Finally, we look at how to create boundaries between time at work and the colleague’s personal life.
This microlearning course is an animated video, with audio narration and a multiple-choice post-assessment.
