Overview
This Data Protection course contains 12 modules covering the Data Protection Act in detail. The modules consist of:
Overview: This module goes through legislations, key definitions, the eight principles and case studies which help give you a better idea of how to use the acts at work.
Conditions For Processing: This module explains the conditions which must be met before any personal data is processed.
Exemptions: This module explains where exemptions apply when organizations deal with personal data.
Principle 1: This module goes into greater detail about principle 1 of the data protection act.
Principle 2: This module goes into greater detail about principle 2 of the data protection act.
Principle 3: This module goes into greater detail about principle 3 of the data protection act .
Principle 4: This module goes into greater detail about principle 4 of the data protection act.
Principle 5: This module goes into greater detail about principle 5 of the data protection act.

Objectives
Overview:

Conditions For Processing:

- Understand all types of exceptions
- Know what to do with data that has exceptions applied to it

- Learn how to fairly and lawfully process data
- Understand why valid reasons are needed for collecting data

- Understand how personal data is obtained
- Learn the lawful purposes and how they work with data

- Understand information standards for the collection of data

- Learn to make sure data I kept accurate

- Understand how long data can be kept for according to the purpose assigned to it
