Overview

Excellent objectives and plans, everyone agrees, are the basis for effective results. But setting objectives is just the first step on the road to development. You've got to make them happen! This course presents a four step plan, the 'Make Objectives Happen Loop', that ensures sound objectives are set and followed through so that they actually happen.

Objectives

Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills to:

• Describe the Make Objectives Happen Loop and show how it works 
• Identify and write SMART objectives 
• Design and use measurement tools for SMART objectives 
• Analyse the results of measurements using the objective as a yardstick 
• Identify whether objectives have or have not been achieved and identify causes 
• Take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved
