Enabling Browser Features

Step-by-step instructions for configuring your browser

JavaScript

JavaScript is required for all courses. It should be enabled by default in modern browsers.

Google Chrome
  1. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Privacy and security in the left sidebar
  4. Click Site Settings
  5. Under "Content", click JavaScript
  6. Make sure Sites can use JavaScript is selected
Mozilla Firefox

JavaScript is always enabled in Firefox and cannot be disabled through normal settings. If you're experiencing issues, try clearing your browser cache or disabling browser extensions that may be blocking scripts.

Safari (macOS)
  1. Click Safari in the menu bar
  2. Select Settings (or Preferences)
  3. Click the Security tab
  4. Check the box next to Enable JavaScript
Microsoft Edge
  1. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Cookies and site permissions in the left sidebar
  4. Scroll down and click JavaScript
  5. Make sure Allowed is turned on

Cookies

Cookies are essential for maintaining your login and tracking your progress through courses.

Google Chrome
  1. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Privacy and security in the left sidebar
  4. Click Third-party cookies
  5. Select Allow third-party cookies or add this site to "Sites that can always use cookies"
Mozilla Firefox
  1. Click the menu button and select Settings
  2. Click Privacy & Security in the left sidebar
  3. Under "Enhanced Tracking Protection", select Standard or click Manage Exceptions to add this site
Safari (macOS)
  1. Click Safari in the menu bar
  2. Select Settings (or Preferences)
  3. Click the Privacy tab
  4. Uncheck Block all cookies or manage website-specific settings
Microsoft Edge
  1. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Cookies and site permissions in the left sidebar
  4. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data
  5. Make sure Allow sites to save and read cookie data is turned on

Pop-up Windows

Courses may run in pop-up windows. You need to allow pop-ups for this site to launch courses.

Google Chrome
  1. When a pop-up is blocked, an icon appears in the address bar
  2. Click it and select Always allow pop-ups from [this site]

Alternatively: Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Pop-ups and redirects > Add this site to "Allowed"

Mozilla Firefox
  1. When a pop-up is blocked, a notification bar appears
  2. Click Preferences and select Allow pop-ups and third-party redirects for [this site]

Alternatively: Settings > Privacy & Security > Permissions > Block pop-up windows > Exceptions > Add this site

Safari (macOS)
  1. Click Safari in the menu bar
  2. Select Settings (or Preferences)
  3. Click the Websites tab
  4. Select Pop-up Windows in the left sidebar
  5. Find this website and change the setting to Allow
Safari (iOS/iPadOS)
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Scroll down and tap Safari
  3. Turn off Block Pop-ups
Microsoft Edge
  1. When a pop-up is blocked, an icon appears in the address bar
  2. Click it and select Always allow
