Overview

This CPD-certified, level-2 e-learning course is suitable for anyone working with children and young people. The course includes optional voiceover recorded by a professional actor.

It is specifically designed to give learners a good understanding of knife crime, why there has been an increase in recent years, who can be affected and how, and what action you can take.

Course Content

• What is Knife Crime - Understanding how and why knife crime has become more prevalent in recent years, what knife crime covers, and why young people carry knives.
• The Consequences and Taking Action - Looking at who can be affected by knife crime, including those who are at higest risk, the physical, legal and long-term consequences of involvement in knife crime, and what you can do to help the siutation.
