Overview

This course has been designed to show learners that promoting a culture of openness is a prerequisite to improving customer safety and the quality of our health and social care systems.

Objectives

This training will enable learners to:

  • Classify Duty of Candour and recognise best practice
  • Distinguish between various levels of harm and associated actions and which are Notifiable Safety Incidents
  • Identify recording requirements
