Safeguarding Adults (awareness level)

Overview

Safeguarding adults is about the safety and well-being of all adults but providing additional measures for those least able to protect themselves from harm or abuse.

This awareness module is aimed at anyone who may be directly or indirectly involved in the care of an adult at risk.

Living a life that is free from harm and abuse is a fundamental human right and an essential requirement for health and well-being. This module is an introduction to understanding what is meant by safeguarding adults and is aimed at learners with little or no prior knowledge.
