Overview

Malware is software which is designed to cause harm and hackers can spread malware in different ways e.g. anything that connects to a device, websites and email attachments.

Less skill is need to carry out cyber-attacks. Consequently smaller businesses and individuals are often targeted. It is important to be aware of anything that seems unusual or ‘slightly wrong’ and your instincts are often right. Employees should let the correct person now immediately if they think you have become a victim of a cyber crime.
